I realize that many people have not heard of BeautiControl, but this is actually the #1 Premium Spa Brand in America company according to America’s Greatest Brand Awards. This company has a very long and interesting history that can be traced back to 1933. The very first BeautiControl product was an anti-aging creme inadvertently invented by an Arkansas tanner named J. W. Heath. If you are curious about the history of BeautiControl (and Mary Kay) then you should definitely read this book “Ask me about Mary Kay: the true story behind the bumper sticker on the pink Cadillac” written by Jackie Brown, one of Mary Kay’s very first consultants. I was floored by her story over and over! I am working on a review of this book presently and it will be a blog post here on my website soon. BeautiControl was incorporated back in the 60’s and purchased by Tupperware back in 2000. I first fell in love with all the products at a home spa party back in 2006, and have been brand loyal to my favorite company ever since. BeautiControl has coined their own term for their product line “masstige” = Mass market prices, Prestigious products. BeautiControl’s skin care line is comparable to Perricone and Dr. Murrad in quality, however our prices are mass market. One of the reasons they are able to keep their remarkable products so affordable is because they do not spend money on marketing, advertising, and packaging for department stores.
